Oh not another BritMums Live post I hear you say! Im so sorry to be super  late on the BritMums Live post bandwagon.  I do have a really good excuse, I have been at home suffering with a horrible cold, so all blogging has been on hold.
Some of you will know my weekend started early on the Thursday afternoon as myself and my two best friends, Gemma from Sunshine on a Cloudy Day and Vicki from Elliebearbabi all headed into London!
As we all live quiet some distance from one another we thought it would be easier if we went in to London a day earlier for some quality time together, rather than be travelling and rushing about like we did last year, and of course this ended up with a trip to the Disney Store! How could it not, we are talking about me here!

Friends Reunited

I can't believe it's been a whole year since I last saw these two. Yes we have our weekly Skype sessions but it's not the same as being together in real life.  It's amazing how two people can literally change your life, I love these girls so much!  And how fabulous are we looking ladies. Normally when we are on Skype it involves us sat in our pj's, makeup free! There has also been times where one of us has been twerking upside down.... ok, ok that was just me! but still our Skype nights are always entertaining but being with the girls in person is even better.
Meeting friends

I had a massive list of people I wanted to meet but unfortunately that didn't happen, I'm not sure what was different this year but I struggled to find a lot of the people I wanted to see.  I also felt that it was very cliquey this year and there was a definite spilt between the "top bloggers" and smaller bloggers. I ended up questioning myself why I was there and was myself and my blog any good? For the one guy who's review style and general writing style I love is Donald over at Dream Home Resource, Dont believe me? Have a look at his best pressure cooker post.
Over the last year I have felt that the blogging community has become so focused on stats and getting free stuff,  that the love in the community has faded.  It's such a shame but to a positive note the small group of people I did meet were amazing!
Meal at Pizza Expresss with the girls

I was so lucky to finally meet Fiona who runs the beautiful Dolly Dowsie, she is such a lovely person and someone I look to for blog inspiration, I have serious blog envy!
I got to see the lovely ladies that are Lucinda Teacher 2 Mummy and Donna from The London Mum.  Again is has been over a year since I saw them last, I really need to socialise more in person I think!
And I also got to meet some bloggers that I have been talking to online for a while now so MartynDonnaSarahKatieand James thank you for spending a bit of time chatting to me, it was so lovely to finally meet you all.

A special mention goes out to Jess Helicopter who actually checked to see if I was ok when we were outside. I was running a Facebook group especially for people attending BM and I had expressed how anxious I was about leaving my children for the first time, especially my youngest who at 16 months has never been more than 5 hours away from me. So thank you for being so kind ! I wish I could of chatted to you for longer.
Highlight: I ended up sharing a room with Gemma and Vicki
Lowlight: Vicki gave me her germs  as we were sharing a bed and on day 2 of our 3 day trip I was poorly! Thank you Vicki! to be fair Vicky was poorly too so we both suffered.

Here is me getting dressed up as I applied for the carnival cruise bloggers program.

Vicki and Gemma outside at BritMums
My favourite session was the Roto Light session,  yes it was a bit of a sale pitch but it's always great to see the product in front of you, a try before you buy and I so need some! I really want to get heavily into the Youtube side but the only time where I am child free is at night so lighting is an issues as is storage space, so these lights are definitely on my christmas wish-list.

 Friends Forever

For me BritMums wasn't the best experience, I'm not going to lie I like to be honest, this year I came home rather disappointed and with a lovely cold! I do feel that BritMums is not aimed at my age group, I'm 25 but in my opinion the event seemed to be aimed at mums 30 plus. I think there would need to be a few tweaks before I return again. For example I would love to see a bigger / better range of brands in the brand area, as it was smaller than last years. Maybe they could invite more PR companies instead of just one brand and I would love to see a photo booth there!
Even though I wasn't as impressed this year, I was so happy to see my online friends in real life and have those two days to socialise, to be me Andrea... Blogger Mumma and to spend time with some truly wonderful people.

I miss you guys and will hopefully see you soon!

I love taking photos, for me a picture can say a thousand words. I like to document my life through pictures, making memories and seeing  how my children have grown.
One of my favourite gifts to give people involve photos. I love to make photo calendars, keyring, canvas and now I'm trying photo magnets.

Sticky 9 recently contacted me and asked if I would like to review their magnet range and being the photo lover I am, I said yes. Sticky 9 is an online website where you can turn your photos into personalised items such as magnets, stickers and gadget cases! There is a gift suited for everyone.

It's a really easy simple process all you need to do is to go on to their website, click on the gift you would like and then it will take you through a super easy step by step guide all the way to checkout.
You can link your Instagram and Facebook accounts to access photos too!

The one thing I would say is to make sure you check your pictures are cropped right and where you want them.  As if they are cropped correctly you will end up with a half the image cut off.
I think that these will make perfect gifts for any member of the family and you can be as creative as you like.

I have chosen pictures from my Instagram account choosing pictures that are going to be going on my fridge. I have chosen some of my food pictures, because food is always a good option and then pictures of the family.  These magnets are the medium size which means you get 9 in total for £9.99

* I was sent this item for the purpose for a review all opinions are my own.

Welcome to another week of Mummy Mondays! Today I'm featuring one of my closest friends who is also a mummy blogger. Please welcome Gemma Louise!

1. What's your name and your blogs name?
I'm Gemma and I blog at 'Sunshine On A Cloudy Day' :)

2. What inspired you to start blogging?
I had considered for a while but never really got round to it. I wanted to write about my life, a diary of some sort to express myself and somewhere I could totally be myself - something that was just mine. I even attempted to sign up once but Blogger baffled me so I gave up. But I was recovering from surgery feeling a bit lost with nothing to do bed bound and I had to time to finally sit there and actually go for it. I spent the whole day trying to set it up properly but I got there in the end and that's how it started :)

3. What topics do you mainly blog about?
I blog about such a variety because I blog about what I feel interested in at the time. My main aspect is family lifestyle, well me and my son Corey and our daily lives etc. I also write about our interests such as day trips out, holidays, toys etc - as well as for me a big interest is beauty like make-up. I like to write emotional, personal posts which have helped me get through some tough times and someone somewhere could be reading and know that they are not alone in whatever situation it could be.

4. Name 5 blogs you are currently loving right now.
Hayleys Little Things

5. What tip would you give to a newbie in the blogging world?
Don't worry about others, don't worry about stats, don't worry about 'freebie's - just don't worry!!! Be yourself, write for you, continue to write what you want to write about! :)

6. What is your favourite thing about your blog?
I have two things. I love that I have a place where I can be myself and express feelings that sometimes I can't say out loud - sometimes posts that don't actually even make it to the blog. Secondly, the blogging community is such a wonderful bunch and have created lovely friendships :)

7. How did you come up with your blog's name?
Well it was difficult. I had so many options that I couldn't pick from, then one day I was browsing the notes on my iphone which had loads of random quotes and I saw 'Sunshine On A Cloudy Day' which I just felt an instant connection too. Corey is exactly that for me, I wanted something that represented him and our relationship as mother and son.

8. Do you prefer Instagram or Pinterest?
Ohhh, I certainly prefer Instagram as I am obsessed and have been for years since it came out. However, Pinterest is a new thing for me and with a bit of practise - it is quite addictive.

 9. Does your blog have a Youtube channel ?
I do, but I have only done one vlog so far and it was a house tour. More to come soon hopefully!

10. Are you attending BritMums Live this year?
Yessss :) Second year and so excited to learn some new bits and the social aspect side of it with fellow bloggers.

11. List 2 random facts about yourself
I am naturally ginger (I do not suit it!). I LOVE lazy days.

12. What are your hobbies?
love blogging, but art is my main hobby, I absolutely love drawing. I also really enjoy scrap booking, I have currently been doing Emily's scrap nook which I have filled with her bump updates and scan pictures. I plan to blog about it soon. Sometimes I just go for a bbq and get my mind to cool off. When I do, I choose the best electric smoker, reviewed by Danny for the House of BBQ. Isnt that name awesome?

13. How many children do you have?
One boy, he is 4 and a half years old called Corey.

14. What is your top 5 pet peeves?
1. People who don't text back but clearly have been on their phone.
2. When people are late, yeah it's okay I will just stand here like a loner on my own for half hour whilst I wait.
3. People who walk slow and you can't overtake on the path.
4. When people can't see they are in the wrong - even when they are being a massive douchebag.
5. When order is wrong at like a restaurant or takeaway. It's just majorly disappointing.

15. Whats your favourite food?
Absolutely anything involving pasta. I would have to say probably Spaghetti Bolognese though!

16. If you had to live on a dessert Island what 3 items would you take ?
Oh no I am so not good with these sorts of questions. If Corey was there with me. I would take a helicopter, pilot and fuel - all to get me out of there asap!!!!

17. Do you have any pets?
I have a fish tank with fish (obviously) but also a little frog. I have one dog, golden retriever called Sandie.

18. Favourite colour?
Tiffany Blue

19. What is your style?
On a day to day basis I would say jeans and a top. I like to be smart casual daily but I don't wear what is in fashion. I rather choose what is comfy and suits my body shape/size.

20. What 2 make up products can you not live without?
I have 3!!! Foundation, Mascara and Eyebrow Mascara. :)

I love accessorising my home, from candles and cushions to picture frames and flowers. For me a home is making each room fully functional yet homely all at the same time.
I love cushions and they are something that in my opinion can really transform a room. Re decorating or designing your room doesn't have to be a costly task, choose items that can easily be replaced or vamped up to achieve that new look.
My living room is in need of sprucing up so I have been taking a look online for some cushions to make my sofa that little bit more inviting.

This basket weave cushion cover from Yorkshire Linen, is a lovely staple cushion. I love to mix and match with colours, sizes and patterns. So having a cushion like this would look lovely on my sofa, it also looks really comfortable and cosy. And better yet it's currently on sale from £14.99 to £5.99 click here to take a look for yourself, it also comes in several colours.
The first cushion I have found is this Balinese print from Dunelm Mill. Currently my sofa is chocolate brown so  I am sticking to more neutral shades, creams, whites and browns. What I love about this is that it's very simple in colour and design, it will go with many other colours and textured cushions so I can layer them up if I want to.
Some of you may know that I'm obsessed with the chevron print, so this definitely caught my eye. It would make a great statement cushion and at £4 it's a bargain from George Asda.

My inner magpie just saw gold when I scrolled past this cushion by Julien Macdonald
My mum has some small heart cable knit cushions which I love, so when I saw this I had to include it on to my list. I love how warm this is but at £20 each it's a bit of a splurge cushion!

Which is your favourite cushion?

With Father's Day coming up on June 21st I wanted to share with you some of my gift ideas for all those amazing dads.

I love a good print and this one from Not On the High Street is a perfect gift from the children. It can be completely personalised and made for dads or granddads.

Every dad needs to smell good so how about his buying his  favourite aftershave? House of Fraser do a large selection to suit all budgets.

I love personalised gifts and these fingerprint jewellery gifts from Hand on Heart Jewellery is the perfect gift for any loving dad.

Another great gift idea is getting those Facebook and Instagram pictures printed. Sticky 9 is a company that specialises in making quality prints, magnets and more from your photos off your social media accounts.
I actually got some prints printed to give to the special father figures in my life.
How about a mug especially for dad's favourite tea or coffee? Emma Bridgewater always makes lovely mugs and this one can be found in John Lewis for under £20.

What will you be getting your dad for Father's Day?
